Mindfulness Exercises
At Brandon Primary Academy, we believe in the power of mindfulness to help our pupils develop focus, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Mindfulness exercises teach children to be present in the moment, manage stress, and build self-awareness. These skills are essential for their mental and emotional development both inside and outside the classroom.
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of paying full attention to the present moment without judgment. It encourages pupils to focus on their thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, fostering a calm and reflective mindset.

- Boosts Emotional Regulation: Encourages children to understand and express their emotions in healthy ways.
- Promotes Self-Awareness: Enhances empathy, patience, and the ability to reflect on their actions.
